Temelec:
Temelec is an age restricted ("Senior")residential community near Sonoma .
It is commonly know as Temelec, but in reality there are four different communities: Temelec, Creekside Village, Chantarelle and Country Meadows.
Each community has his own amenities and own HOA fees (Compared to many other Home Owner Associations the fees are very low, mostly between $100 and $150 per month.)
Temelec was the first community and the first building phase started 1964. Currently 325 houses are part of Temelec.
The Temelec Club House is a historic landmark with extraordinary beauty surrounded by a beautiful park.
Amenities included: two clubhouses, two pools, wildfowl pond, activities and walking trails.
The Creekside Village clubhouses reflects the style of its construction time in the eighties. Very contemporary with high ceilings and a lot of glass, it is well designed for its purpose. The 313 homes are all on one level most with two bedrooms and two bath.
The Creekside Village community has a tennis court, spa, pool, two tennis courts, bocce ball court, activities and walking trails.
Chantarelle, a community of 122 homes was built in 1989. Amenities include clubhouse, pool, putting green, BBQ area and activities.
Country Meadow is with 31 homes the smallest community. Amenities include clubroom, pool and BBQ area.
Most of the homes in these four subdivisions are single level family homes, there are exception as there are a few condos and a few houses with a second story.
The average Sq Ft is around 1400 Sq Ft and mostly 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. A quarter of the homes have more then 2 bedrooms or only one bedrooms.
All of the have a least a patio and most of them have their own garage.
